Changes to flavour and formulation can happen for a few reasons, including ingredient supply, regulatory requirements, and ensuring consistency across different markets, but we do appreciate that this doesn’t take away from your experience of the change itself. In terms of manufacturing, Spry products are made in certified facilities that operate under strict food safety and quality standards, with regular testing and auditing in place to ensure product consistency and safety. Terrible decrease in quality I have been a faithful customer for over 10 years and I used to LOVE this cinnamon flavour. Then several years ago they changed it, and the sweet, spicy, delicious cinnamon flavouring was switched out for something woody, unpleasant, and terribly low quality. I'm not sure if that's when XLEAR/Spry moved manufacturing from the US and the Netherlands to China, but they have. Unmitigated greed. Now, as far as I can tell, only the spearmint flavour is still made in the Netherlands....for now. I refuse to buy food made in Chína for the contamination risks alone, let alone the low quality, or the damage to our countries from outsourcing. Of course the prices remain the same. Not even my favourite gum can escape the enshittification of everything.
